This series was taken on 09/06/2005 on the way to a job interview in Sun Valley, CA. It was a 1.5 mile walk from the Metrolink station, and I decided to see if I could come up with a decent set of photos along the way, with the following rules:  At least 1 shot must be taken every minute, and every shot must be used.  The main question was, could every shot (including the potentially bad shots) be turned into and interesting photo.

I liked this idea because I felt it would show me how I see.  And it did, It showed my that, first and foremost, I tend to look for angles and contrasts.  That's what my eye sees before everything else.  All other information is secondary in importance, and runs the risk of becoming noise, not as interesting, not as useful.
