Ramblin’

I'd take a drive

if I could

but I'm out of money

and feeling very trapped

Though I suppose I could

drive anywhere I wanted to

within my own head.

And maybe I'd find

more that way

than I ever could

using the machine.

I know I'd save some money

and probably my own life too.

Because I could break

all the rules

like speeding,

red lights,

hit and run.

And I could drive

over the edge

if I so desired.

And I could easily

find my way home

no matter where

I choose to go.

So, that's in then,

I'm off.

Don't worry, you won't

even know I've gone.
