A mug sits on a table holding a substance
it's trying to keep away from the table.
Like temptation.
And it's convenient because we have the substance close to us
and use it only when we want it.
Like many friendships.
And certainly the mug helps to get the substance
in us, without getting it on us.
Like careful, boring sex.
And once all of the substance has been taken in, we can
discard what remains, and go for another round.
Like many relationships.
