History

When it's happening to you, it doesn’t seem like a big deal to others.

That's because while it's occurring, everything else is going on too.

See, At the moment the bomb hits the ground:

1. a man pays his bills

2. lots of people are probably doing it somewhere

3. you eat a bad steak

4. some guy fixes a flat tire

5. a few guys loose at poker

6. yet another bad movie is made

7. the desert still sits, motionless

So, all of these things take a major event and turn it into less than it is

Like a bad photo.

But, over time, the insignificant acts are sifted out, and we home in on the important stuff.

Those not directly involved begin to see the situation more clearly.

That's when it becomes history.

It turns into a movie set, with characters, lights and sound, and we view it by looking up at it, and its true significance can be more clearly seen.  We've isolated the subject.

Like a great photo.
