Growing

Do we ever really learn?

I know it's been asked before,

but there's proof in war

that we don't.

And it really has to do with

human nature, emotions and all that,

and before we can really decide where we're at,

we need to get the emotions out of there.

Learning, for the most part,

should be non-emotional and dry,

but who the hell wants to try

to learn under those conditions?

So, the bottom line is that

we may never really know

the level to which we grow

beyond the level we're at now.

and that really sucks.
